In the summer and winter of 2011, entertainment icon Debbie Reynolds had two auctions of items from her private collection of Hollywood costumes and props. Ms. Reynolds also currently has some of her items on sale online.

The 1952 red MG TD driven by Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant in Monkey Business sold for $210,000. (See it in the video above.)

Remember the scene in Alfred Hitchcock's To Catch a Thief when John Robie and Francie Stevens (Cary Grant and Grace Kelly) take a drive and have a picnic?

The two-piece rose crepe outfit of short-sleeve top with heavy white wool embroidery and knee-length full-pleated skirt worn by Grace Kelly in the 1955 film.

This is a signature costume for her, as she "sweeps Cary Grant away on a fast and sexy scenic drive in a Sunbeam Alpine."

Cary Grant's sport coat from that scenic drive was also up for auction. A distinctive gray wool sport coat by Acuna of Hollywood. Internal label marked  "CARY GRANT APRIL 1954." Buttons are replacements of different type from later time period.

Both pieces exceeded estimates. Cary Grant's jacket brought in $15,000 and Grace Kelly's two-piece outfit garnered $450,000!
